• Der Aufsatz evaluiert im ersten Teil die zunehmend vertretene These der Eigenständigkeit der Hiob dichtung gegenüber der Hiob erzählung kritisch und bewertet sie als unwahrscheinlich. Der zweite Teil bietet eine knappe redaktionsgeschichtliche Analyse der Hiob erzählung, um die Grundzüge der Buchwerdung des Hiob buches darzustellen: Die ursprüngliche Hiob erzählung wurde in einem zweiten Schritt um Hi 2,11–13 und die ursprüngliche Hiob dichtung erweitert und in einem dritten Schritt durch Hi 1,6–12; 2,1–10; 42,7–10 ergänzt.
• In the first part, the paper critically evaluates the increasingly advocated thesis of the independence of the poetic parts of the Book of Job from its narrative parts and evaluates it as improbable. The second part offers a brief redaction-critical analysis of the narrative parts of the Book of Job in order to present the main stages of the formation of the Book of Job: The original narrative was expanded in a second step by Job 2:11–13 and the original poetic parts of the Book of Job, and in a third step by Job 1:6–12, 2:1–10, 42:7–10.
